Ben Atkins

Co-founder and CEO of Zenith IOS

Ben Atkins is co-founder and CEO of Zenith IOS. Over his 25-year real estate career he has consummated the purchase and development of over $1 billion of real estate investments across all property types.

In addition to running Zenith, Ben is the founder and President of Abingdon Square Partners, a Brooklyn based real estate development with a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. Since inception, Abingdon has transacted on over $300 million of real estate investments.

Ben began his real estate career in 1997 as a real estate attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. From 1999 to 2002, he was a Vice President at Vornado Realty Trust and served as General Counsel of the firm’s New York Office Division. He holds a JD degree from Columbia Law School and a BA in political science from Columbia College.

Ben is an adjunct professor of real estate development at both Columbia University Business School and NYU Stern School of Business.  He is also a former two-time fencing National Champion and two-time NCAA Champion and is a member of the Columbia University Athletics Hall of Fame.
